Though I have little belief that they would function effectively as a government, watching Fine Gael implode is painful. The recent in-fighting has resulted in Bruton been sacked as deputy. Fianna Fáil must be rubbing their hands in glee as for once the spotlight is off their diabolical running of the country into the ground. The whole debacle continues to demonstrate the self-serving interest of the majority of politicians in this country. I guess we will see what happens on Thursday during the top-secret ballot.
